Updates, Ongoing Support & Volunteer Opportunities
Smiles for Abby just established a partnership with Reading Hospital and delivered an initial 5 care packages to the network in May 2026.
Smiles for Abby just celebrated National Ice Cream Day in July by hand delivering free ice cream goodies to all adult oncology patients at Penn State Hershey Medical Center!
Smiles for Abby recently assembled 50 care packages which will be distributed to our health network partners!
Smiles for Abby recently mailed care packages to recipients as far as Florida and North Carolina over the summer.
Smiles for Abby donated 35 PICC sleeve covers to patients at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in May 2026

Donate Today
Monetary donations are used to create care packages, purchase items not donated by the community, and cover shipping costs for recipients across the United States. A donation of $10 covers the production cost of one care package bag, $20 covers the shipping cost for one bag, and $75 covers the cost of all the contents for one care package.
