Smiles for Abby was founded by Nick Valentine (Abby’s husband) in August 2023, 13 months after Abby was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. What began as a social media platform to inform friends and family of Abby’s progress has transformed into an advocacy, awareness, and support resource for young adults with cancer.
Smiles for Abby aims to serve as a resource support group providing care packages, information, and a lending ear to newly diagnosed young adult cancer patients over the age of 20 while also donating to blood cancer research in Abby's memory.
